Apr 2008 Media Week & Marketing - Marc Mendoza joins Admedia as
Non-Executive Director

Managing Partner of MPG UK, Marc Mendoza, has taken his first non-executive position outside the Havas owned group, joining the Board of Out of Home and Experiential media owner Admedia with immediate effect.

Mendoza joins as Non-Executive Director with the recently appointed Chairman, Jonathan Lewis, Philip Vecht and Jonathan Naggar, Admedia’s joint Chief Executives who set up Admedia in 1995.
 
Mendoza will be working closely with the existing management team to identify commercial opportunities for the business and help develop a greater understanding of client media strategies.
 
Mendoza comments, “The existing Admedia portfolio is unique in that it is so multi-faceted, and delivers significant reach of a wide range of key audiences across various environments. I believe a strong foundation has been set for the future and I look forward to working with the team to identify opportunities for growth and develop stronger partnerships with advertisers".

Mendoza adds, "I'm excited with the prospect of working with the existing team and have been attracted by the huge growth potential of the business. The Out of Home market has enjoyed sustained growth over the last 5 to 10 years and I strongly believe that the integration of new formats and technology will further enhance that growth".

Philip Vecht comments, “Marc brings with him tremendous business acumen and vast experience within the communications industry. His extensive relationships at both client and agency level will provide us with greater insight into the ongoing requirements of leading advertisers and allow us to align our growth strategy around this”.

Admedia products have now attracted spend from the majority of the top 100 UK advertisers since launch in 1995 as well as numerous lower spending brands. This includes advertisers across all major categories including Entertainment & Media, Cosmetics & Toiletries, Motors, Food, Drink and Telecoms. 

Major advertisers include COI, Unilever, Sky, P&G, Coca Cola, Max Factor, Tesco, T-Mobile, Nivea, Nestle, Mercedes, Ford, Microsoft.  Other new brands attracted to the medium within the last twelve months include Virgin Media, EasyJet, Relentless, Twentieth Century Fox, Pfizer, McDonalds, Ocean Finance and The Telegraph.
