Jul 2009 Media Week: Admedia hires Primesight's Beaton for marketing role

LONDON - Out-of-home media owner Admedia has appointed former Primesight marketing manager Eve Beaton to the new role of marketing and PR manager.

Beaton will be responsible for marketing, research, sales team support and PR across Admedia and its products, which include outdoor media in bars, clubs, shopping centres and motorway services.

She was at out-of-home media owner Primesight for three years, where she was responsible for marketing across a number of outdoor formats. She helped to launch two new products, worked on the committee of the OAA conference and was involved in industry research.

Prior to joining Primesight, Beaton worked at The National Magazine Company and BBC Worldwide, were she was responsible for marketing female magazines to consumers.

A spokesman from Admedia said Beaton's previous experience and knowledge of shopping, cinema and health audiences will offer "new consumer insight" to promote Admedia's core products and services.

Admedia, headed by managing director Adam Mills, manages 23,000 washroom panels, 1,350 six-sheets and extensive experiential opportunities in a range of environments.

Last Tuesday (21 July), Media Week revealed Admedia won the contracts for Bay Restaurant Group and Town & City Pub Company, which operate the Slug and Lettuce, Yates's and Hogs Head chains.
