Following the launch of its latest SME research presenting a strong opportunity for OOH, Admedia has teamed up with The Advertising Association for the recent AAccelerate for Growth initiative targeting SMEs.

The Advertising Association, the UK industry body for advertising, has launched a new initiative – AAccelerate for Growth – where ten SMEs in the West Midlands can gain access to a unique high value multi-platform advertising campaign plus an independent evaluation of its impact, at an exceptional discounted cost, to drive their company growth. The competition is part of the Advertising Association’s AAccelerate for Growth pilot programme and the West Midlands is the proving ground for what the organisation aims to be a national programme to enable SMEs to advertise more.

Applicants to AAccelerate for Growth should broadly meet the following criteria:

  • £5 – £50 million turnover
  • More than 10 employees
  • Over three years old
  • In profit or well-funded
  • Has ambitious plans for growth

 

To encourage SMEs to apply for the initiative, The Advertising Association has utilised Admedia’s Nexus full-motion D48 Screen network across five Motorway Services within the West Midlands region. Motorway Services are the key stopping point for SMEs on the move, where 74% of SME decision makers use the extensive facilities, including food outlets and business lounges, every year.

In a recent study, using research partners including YouGov, BDRC, Market Management and AdDrive, Admedia has found a strong link between a large SME audience and Motorway Services. The research shows how OOH can successfully reach a large SME audience on the move, especially among the utilities, office equipment, IT services, commercial vehicles, telecoms and finance markets.
