Admedia, alongside Blue Planet Aquarium and Buy Me Media agency, attended the annual Daily DOOH Gala Awards at Banqueting House in London last night, in light of our nomination for the ‘Best DOOH Campaign Award’ utilising Admedia Nexus.

Utilising two vibrant full-motion creatives that are delivered depending on specific weather conditions, the campaign made clever use of Admedia Nexus – the UK’s largest full-motion external D48 Screen network.

Admedia, experts in traditional and digital OOH advertising across the UK Motorway Service Area network teamed up with leading digital technology provider UniLED to deliver the dynamic full-motion campaign, targeting families during the busy school summer holidays.

Blue Planet Aquarium’s first creative Beat the Heat reflects hot weather, where the sun-specific campaign promotes frosty refreshments and cool sharks and is triggered when the outside temperature level remains at a high. In contrast, when it begins to rain, Nexus’s cutting-edge digital technology triggers the rain-specific creative Jurassic Shark to replace Beat the Heat, ensuring contextual relevance across the network.

The nominated Blue Planet Aquarium campaign was up against Sky Transfer Deadline Day across Outdoor Plus and ‘Oops’ for O2, which ran out as the category winners.
